I would have to say that this site has been in the making for quite some time now without our knowing it. When people learn of our eating habits we get reactions galore. Most commonly people look at us like we’re from another planet and even sometimes with mild disgust. Some may feel threatened while others are genuinely curious or even excited. More often than not we get a slew of questions: “What do you eat? Do you go out to restaurants? What made you go in that direction? No meat or dairy? No way!”. Well, let’s get you those answers!

It is often that people with the most questions seem to want to be healthier themselves and may not know where to begin. We Eat Plants wants to help you transition to a healthier life. Calling all eaters! We promise it’ll be worth your while. Remember, this is about your health and taking claim of the power you have to shape it.

It might be important that we give you a brief explanation as to what we have deemed, through personal experience and research, to be a healthy lifestyle. Though we’ll touch on many aspects of health, our focus will remain on the dietary choices we make each day. We support a plant based diet. That being said, it is up to each one of us to decide what health means for ourselves and we hope to provide you some insight and tools to take a deeper look.

Here’s the deal: we’ll dish out our lives if you dish out some of yours. We want your involvement and company in this journey. At the very least we ask you to poke, pry inquire, comment, cheer, protest, do a dance, but most importantly, make healthful decisions. Let’s raise our glasses, cheers, and dig into this adventure together. Who knows, maybe one day when someone asks you what you eat, you’ll respond with, “I eat plants”.

Thanks for joining us!
